The fine print
Affiliate Disclosure
Some links on this site may earn Roman Stone a small commission, at no extra cost to you. Here is exactly how that works.
The short version
Some of the links on Roman Stone, mostly to books and gifts, may be affiliate links. If you buy through one of them, Roman Stone may earn a small commission. It does not cost you anything extra, and it does not change the price you pay.
What we link to, and why
We only point to things we would actually recommend or give. The reading lists and the gift guide exist because those specific books and objects are useful for someone drawn to Stoicism, not because of any commission. If a link earns nothing, we still keep it when it serves you. If a better free option exists, we say so.
Amazon and other programs
Roman Stone participates, or intends to participate, in affiliate programs including the Amazon Associates Program. When those links are live, purchases made through them may earn a referral fee. Any such relationship never buys a recommendation here.
Your trust comes first
The whole point of this project is honesty. If a recommendation ever reads as if it were bought, we have failed at the one thing that matters. You are always free to search for any book or product on your own, and to buy it anywhere you like.
